Update: While this video is older the content is still useful. I’ve since switched to CounterCultureDIY’s Art Wash and/or Dawn dish soap to clean off silicone (if used) prior to resining, and I use Golden Isolation Coat as my barrier (two thin coats with a sponge brush). These steps are not needed if no silicone is used. Follow product instructions. Also, I switched to KSResin. It’s simply the best. Low VOCs, the best UV protection, and great for functional art with a heat withstand capability of 475 degrees. See my discount code below.

SAFETY: All epoxy/resin products can be detrimental to your health. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is HIGHLY encouraged. Please Google the safety data sheet (SDS) for your brand and heed their recommendations. Resin should be used in a well-ventilated area always from unprotected family members and pets. 3M makes affordable masks and can be found in my Amazon shop.
