India reached an ICC Women's WT20 semi-final for the first time in eight years, defeating No. 1 Australia and then-No. 2 New Zealand in the process – yet all that the campaign is being remembered for is the controversial axing of Mithali Raj for the semis, and the ungainly mudslinging that has followed.

Quite frankly due to this incident I came to know that Ramesh Power still existed, and really feel bad that he is a national coach.
Guy who could hardly secure his own place in team is now a coach, wow.
India team deserves much better, whether it's coach, fans, money or respect.

Professor Mohammad Tajuddin was taking a class of first-year Post Graduate students. Lenin (Russian Revolutionary) and his ideologies were being taught as per the demand of the syllabus. While talking about Lenin's biography he mentioned that Lenin's brother was hanged on charges of terrorism. These charges were levied on him by the then ruling Czar. He wanted to explain it a bit more properly and so gave an example of a person who was and is a hero for him and the other Indians also but the British Indian state (of that time pre-1947) didn't consider him the same. The man was Bhagat Singh. Some mischievous fellow recorded a 25-second video clipping from the 2-hour lecture and uploaded it over social media. The 'news' channels started to misquote/misunderstand him (maybe deliberately because of the TRP stuff). Now no one is willing to listen to his side of the story. He has made a small video in which he has explained the whole story. I beg you all to please watch it and then judge him. If you find the video worthy enough then please share it also. It will be a great help.
Thanks

It was so disappointing to see India get knocked out of the semi final after complete domination in the earlier matches. Dropping an experience player like Mitali costed India bad. Politics won over sports.

VERY TRUE.... TOO MUCH THE MISCHIEF POLITICS MAKERS MUST BE EXPOSED AND INDIA EXPECTS IS RECOGNIZING AND REWARDING GOOD PERFORMANCE BY WINNING AND BREAKING RECORDS FROM THE LAGGARDS ARE OF AMAZINGLY & SUPER TALENTED CRICKETS ARE PLEADING TO BE GIVEN ONE CHANCE TO PLAY FOR INDIA.

I dont understand what is the point of this video and its title "We have failed Our Women"... Its the few in the team itself that have failed India i would say. Mithali has her side of story about Ramesh Powar and if you see the recent news, the current captain and Smriti has backed the coach and asked to extent his services... Clearly there is rift within the team itself and that has caused the loss to Cricket India. So please, "We have not failed our Women"... some women in the team has failed us (India).
Who is at fault will never get determined...

But how can you defend dropping Mithali Raj from final ? Actually no one can . Even if this email leak controversy wouldn't have happened. The questions of dropping such a player still remains the same . How can you drop her ?

Is it a gender bias issue we're talking about here(based on"failed indian women" thing? Doesn't seem like it to me atleast.

Honestly cricket has now become like saas bahu serial type thing. 12 months continuously we are bombarded with cricketing news. And now I dont even watch ind pak matches. I started disliking cricket.

it is the biggest blunder by coach and harmanpreet to create such a controversy .harman is damm jealous of mitali s achievements and papulaitity. mitali could be proved the biggest weapon to win the semis or finals

Romesh Powar, that fat guy who just played a few matches for the national team, that overweight guy, unfit for modern-day game, is the coach?!What the heck!
