The overlap was 98/99.. Bad Boy was hanging on to thread with Mase. At that time DMX was on the rise even featuring on 24 hours to live. By 2000 the game had changed all together. However, to Puff's credit, he knew how to keep himself relevant cuz we then got Black Rob, GDep, Loon, Yung Joc to take him into the 2000s. Also his RnB artists still had fire, Carl Thomas, 112 etc. Puff really needs to studied on business strategy and resilience perspective, cuz he survived a very long time in the game by reinventing his brand.
