The 2024 Jiyue 01, an all-electric SUV developed by Geely and Baidu, has officially launched, with prices starting at $34,100. This advanced vehicle boasts impressive performance, featuring a total power output of 536 horsepower (400 kW) from its dual-engine setup. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to 62 miles per hour) in just 3.9 seconds, showcasing its remarkable speed capabilities.
Equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack supplied by CATL, the Jiyue 01 offers a substantial driving range of up to 600 kilometers (370 miles) on a single charge. The SUV’s design emphasizes aerodynamics, enhancing its efficiency with a drag coefficient of just 0.249. Safety is also a priority in the Jiyue 01, as it features 5-star safety elements, including ultra-high-strength steel and high-strength aluminum alloy construction.
Technologically, the Jiyue 01 is equipped with an array of sensors, including 12 ultrasonic radar sensors, 11 high-definition cameras, and 5 millimeter-wave radar sensors. It also features an advanced Point-to-Point Autopilot (PPA) system.
