FullingMill has quickly become my "go to" fly hook. Mostly because of the guys at Fly Fish Food! They have a teflon coated stinger hook that is amazing!

Thank you for the info. From looking at the map of the states there seems to be a supplier very close to me. I’m using one of their guides next week and I’m going to check out what they have and if they don’t have any I will ask why. Again thank you for the info.

My hook up rate on the grab gape and the Czech nymph hooks is excellent, become my go to hooks for nymphs, the 16 and 18 Czech nymph hooks are perfect for chalkstream grayling bugs

Fulling Mill have a great selection of barbless hooks, its because of this that they are my go to choice for hooks. And that they sponsor Davie of course. Kamasan are also reliable, but they dont have as good a barbless selection as FM. FM tools seem pretty nice too but I only have one pair scissors at the moment.

Glad to see you talk about the Grab Gape. I can't remember seeing you tie on one. It's my favorite barbless. I use it like I used the TMC-2488. Dries, Spiders, nymphs, it works for me. Can't wait to try the heavy but I can't come up with anything less than a 16 here. And while I'm at it. Since you are a respected tyer. Get these *@%*&* hook companies to state the shank size and not the gape size. So a size 12-3X short is a 15? So state size 15 3X gape or something like that. If someone tells you they are taking 12 BWO's they mean 12's not 3X shorts. Sorry for the rant but I'm getting old and this size thing is really bugging me.

Great hooks, just wish I could get hold of them...haven't been able to obtain any in Europe for almost 2 years...had to switch to inferior brands ..shame.
