I don't recall ever seeing a house with double walls below ground over here in the US.
They do waterproof them in various ways, but I don't know how effective that is.

Lovely home! Question, when you say no furniture, sometimes that mean that the kitchen is going to be removed, will that be the case here? Also, what about the light fixtures do they stay? I would hope that not ALL of the furniture is going? It would take a lot to get this house furnished and to not feel empty. Like for an example, some of the wardrobes should stay. It is such a large house it will need some larger pieces to stay!!❤
