Senkyaku Banrai at Toyosu Fish Market, Tokyo - Free Footbath with a view of Tokyo Bay 😍 (Feb 2024)

Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai is a new restaurant complex in Tokyo with street food, snacks, Japanese food, a hot spring bath resort and a free footbath with a spectacular view of Tokyo Bay!

Senkyaku Banrai means "lots of customers, coming and going". It's in Toyosu, which is next to Odaiba in Tokyo Bay. You can get there on the Yurikamome train line. It's close to TeamLab Planets and Small Worlds Tokyo, and has lots of places to eat. It's next to Toyosu Fish Market and opened in February 2024. It's like the new version of the Tsukiji Outer Market. The video includes a tour, showing some of the food available there, including a food court on the upper floor. The best part is a free hot spring footbath on the roof, which has lovely views of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. I went in the evening and the view is fantastic. There's also a hot spring bath complex with lots of different baths and saunas, restaurants and relaxation rooms. You can get a day pass for the onsen baths, or stay overnight.

Hi Amy - Cakes with Faces. My wife and I visited Toyosu Fish Market last week. We had dinner at a small izakaya at the far end of the "food stalls street". After eating we visited the Free Foot Bath on the 8th Floor of Toyosu Manyo Club late in the evening after dark. There were only a few others present and we had a great time looking at Tokyo Skyline from Toyosu island. The view is spectacular, and it's free of charge. Water temps were at 42C, hot but very comfortable. We will visit this place again for sure as we usually stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake on the nearby island of Ariake. Thank you for showing us this gem, and also for your book, both were very helpful in planning our trip. Greetings from Norway 🙂

You could take a free foot bath while enjoying the wonderful night view. 😚

I can only say it's the best. 👍

When I saw the subject title, I was thinking of a foot spa thing where the fish nibble your dead skin!🤪

Heading back in February and I'm planning to go here in the evening for the view and footbath! I never would have known about this without your videos, so thank you 😊 Your information has been indispensable since my first trip in 2016 💖

I can't stand any seafood but I keep feeling the siren's call of the Japanese fish market.

I like the Edo styling, so I'd go there over Tsukiji!

We have gone past Shijo-mae station a few times, as we usually stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Ariake which is at Ariake Garden, very close to Tennis-no-mori station, Ariake Station (Yurikamome line) and Kokusai-Tenjijo station (Rinkai line). From Ariake Garden we have easy access to Shibuya and Shinjuku with Rinkai-line and Saikyo-line, and to Toyosu and Shimbashi with Yurikamome-line. We will for sure visit the Toyosu fish market area in May :-)

Thanks a lot Amy for another great video. I used to be a big fan of the Tsukiji outer market, but the last time I was there (March 2023), it was so crowded, that it was in parts unpleasant for me. However, Senkyaku Banrai looks so sterile and without the great atmosphere at Tsukiji, so I dont know if I would prefer it. I still have to decide if we go there next spring on our next trip to Japan.

I went there twice recently. The footbath is unreal and the best part of area. The food prices are too high just like old Tsukiji has become overpriced in the past few years.

The original is authentic. This seemed very manufactured. Interesting but I have seen it now.
