As a genuine noob (< 2 months) I have to say that whilst I had already figured out water from other less beginner oriented tutorials (this is easier to follow) I still hadn't got around to electricity, and this has completely changed that aspect of my game. Within 2 days of watching it I have enough cables and outlets in my base that I can literally place any powered item down anywhere and it finds an outlet to connect to and shows as powered right away. Its actually much easier than the water where you have to snap exactly to a pipe.

Also I think its great that you are doing this in vanilla as most noobs do, and I beleive console players have to?
It is obvious from comments that a few people have already found mods like SS which make some of this easier, I'm so glad to have found it and to play on a platform where I can use it, but fully endorse your approach of not using mods for these tutorials.

Do you have plans to do an episode to explain mods at a future date, for those are inevitably going to branch off down that route, even if the main series continues without any?

When I clicked this video I expected it to have bad audio if any and the tutorial to be garbage. Instead, It was a beautiful video and an excellent tutorial. Professional quality. 9/10. You deserve more subs.

you should be able to fill reservoir via pipes from rivers too.

You should also turn the 4 way water pipes to straight pipes and just switch them when need

i just fought a massive dino (like a rex but MANY times bigger) tried taming it and it started torpor running (i suck at this game and i was excited and proud) and then i chased it (mistake) it then killed me and when i got back… it killed my favorite bird and i feel like throwing up.

we also had just finished killing an alpha carno togather (had soo much prime meat)

i just wish tamed dinos knew when to run in this game
