RIP my beloved Ricoh GR3x.
In this video I will explain what happened and showcase some of my favourite Ricoh GR3x photos taken this year.

Magnifique reel! Sorry about the camera... I've been rocking my gr3x for 2 months now and enjoying it, although i think it mighthave lost some sharpness after it bumped into a wall when it was in my cargo pants pocket

I dropped a GXR in a river; fished it out and once dried it was working fine once more.

I feel your pain. I dropped my Ricoh GR3 when it was only about a month old when a grasshopper I was photographing jumped on my hand! The camera only dropped about three feet onto a carpeted floor, but was still a gonna. It was the fact that it couldn't survive such a relatively soft drop that led me to the decision not to replace it, so that was the end of my very short Ricoh experience.

I see the appeal, but the price is crazy for what it is. Hopefully you had insurance/protection plan.
