My friend died when we were 11. I miss her every day. She was a kind soul who wasn't fortunate enough to have friends who appreciated her until I met her. She had the kindest heart in the world, but it wasn't strong enough to continue beating. She died during a basic surgery that she should have survived. It was heartbreaking. She only experienced high-school for around a week or too. May Julia rest in peace.

A few years ago, before Rona started, I lost a friend I've known for two or three years. We had a little group of five people, the next year it was four, and then three, since people kept getting separated into different classes. My friend and I would FaceTime every morning and play games together. She always stuck around- recess, lunch, and even in class. We always chose each other when there was a group project and had a lot of fun. One day, a new kid came to my class and my friend became friends with her. At recess she would play with the new kid, in group projects she would join the "popular girls", and she started getting into a lot of arguments with me. There was three lunch tables for our class, the "boys table", the "girls table" and then an outcasts table (they weren't assigned, it just managed to end up like that). My little group sat in the outcasts table all the time, since there was only two empty spaces in the girls table and there was three of us. When the new kid showed up there was one spot, and my friend took it, leaving me behind. Every. Day. My other friend sat with me but sometimes she had to go to a music type thing that went on during lunch (she ate there), so I would be sitting by myself. Eventually me and my friend stopped talking. It's been about 3 years now. I kept in touch with one of my other friends though and she introduced me to two of her friends and now i have a chaotic group chat that loves to spam my phone until it explodes (well not really, just until it starts lagging) and also my neighbor (that I used to rarely see) got to come outside to play more often.
So I guess that worked out in the end but I still miss my friend :(

This is to my best friend who passed away last year October, i remember him always texting me after his band practice and venting to me about all the new fights he had in his new school, it was funny, we were besties online, we spoke everyday, i always told him he reminded me of my brother and was like a older brother figure to me, but one day he left me i don't blame him ik he's a better place now i just miss him alot, he made me smile on my worst days and this reminds me of him, rest in peace homie i love you<3

This reminded me of a friend I've known almost my entire life ( I'm 14, turning 15 in a few months ), I left the town I grew up in, including her, to make my mother happy. What I didn't realise was that I had feelings for her and those feelings only grew once I left her.
I now have no contact with her because the phone that had her number on it broke and I can't get the Sims card out. And the only thing I have left of her is the teddy she made out of our old primary school uniform.

I'm sorry to those reading, I needed to get this off my chest and my mum is sick of hearing me go on about her. I'm sorry this is so long as well.

This reminds me of my old best friend that I had when I was 5. We hung out everyday, afterschool, before school, during school, weekends, almost every single second we could, we'd go hang out together. Then he ended up having to leave.
