Harris and Trump Debate China Policies in First Showdown

Former president Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris share their take on the trade disputes between the US and China during the ABC News Presidential Debate. Trump says higher tariffs would not mean higher prices for US consumers, while Harris says the Trump administration "sold us out" to China.

Consumers will pay the tariffs if they buy Made in China 🇨🇳 products.
In fact, the money that the Chinese government used to subsidize their own companies will go directly into the US Treasury's account.

What China policy? In the debate, she thought chipset manufacturing went to China under Trump's presidency.

Chip manufacturing is in _Taiwan, _ and had been long before Trump was president.
