I'm an old 1p & 2p collector & I have several 71's so if they were thousands of pounds value for each, then I'd be pretty minted!😂
They are worth more than face value & I'm trying to rescue as many as I can daily because some scrap men who dosen't care less about English heritage, when I do! I have now about a kilo worth of the old bronze's in 1p & 2p coins😊👍

I just went through a massive bag of 2p's among others. I found 53 1971 ones, what Is the difference for the Un-Circulated version?. I also have 35 1p's from 1971. I didn't find any 1983 ones In the 2ps, but I have 25 In the 1p's, all with "One Pence" on them.

The old two pence was more copper and now the price of copper is all time high you get more than two pence for them.
