My conspiracy theory is that derby can’t ever get back to the prem until someone breaks their record

I think the fact that Sheffield United conceded 100 goals last season and still did better than Derby's points total is all the proof I need that the 11 point record is never getting broken.

Derby County will never be erased. Maybe for the "Disney 6" fan boys and the people who think there was no English league before the prem but they are a very well respected club and are also a fellow founder member.

Nothing but respect for the rams, hope you have a great season lads.

All the best from the Wolves 👊

Started playing career mode in fifa 12 and picked derby because of their crest. I’ve been supporting them since 😂. Hope to one day see them play.

As a Derby fan, looking back at our 2007/08 season was very painful to witness, heck, there's been many dark days for us as Rams fans throughout the years, especially our 21 points deduction a few years ago, though now we're doing much better than we were the last few years, and here's hoping our future is more bright than ever now that we're back in the Championship.

I guess it's a record we still hold in the Prem, just not exactly the one you want. Who knows, we might get back to the Prem in the way future, only to break our own record again, lol.

But in all seriousness, I enjoyed this video despite it revisiting one of my dark days as a Derby fan, keep up the good work, Vizeh.👍🐏

Derby fan here - the club actually recovered from the 07/08 season after five years of being run very sensibly which culminated in our best Derby team of the past 20 years losing the 13/14 playoff final.
Losing that game is what haunts the club, Mel Morris (the owner who put us into admin) had a deal to buy the club before that final that would have been a bargain if we went up - effectively he gambled we’d win.
He spent years recklessly throwing money around after that loss trying to chase the promotion he thought was already in the bag and then gave up after COVID.

As a 9 year old Derby fan and season ticket holder the 07/08 was bitter sweet. The football was horrendous, there were very few moments of joy (those we did have I remember very fondly however) but it was so cool to see all of these amazing players come to Pride Park. Ronaldo, Rooney, Torres, Gerrard, Drogba, Lampard playing against Derby and getting to see them in their prime was rather special.

Derby fan here,

Our record will never ever be broken. There have been worst teams than us, but to break our record you need to be equally as bad but you also need to be equally as unlucky. The amount of late goals, posts, deflected goals.

As a Forest fan i miss the East Midlands derby matches. Leicester think they are our rivals (which is amusing) and enjoy smashing up Nottingham when they come (which is not amusing) but Forest/Derby is the proper rivalry. To be honest, i think supporters of both clubs grugingly respect the history of the other.

Can never knock Derby’s supporters. Consistently get around 30, 000 regardless of the league. Proper club, proper fans. Even in L1 it was usually between 27k-32k.

I think of Derby as the great club of the 70s more so than Premier League embarrassment, but I wasn't following football during any of their seasons in the top flight.

Great vid!. It’s a shame they never got promoted in the 13/14 season as that was the most balanced and Premiership ready squad. McLaren inherited Clough’s squad and managed to not only get them to gel but also play highly attractive football.

Any other season and they would have gone up automatically given they finished on 85 points in third place.

So many great up and coming players in that squad too with a young Will Hughes, Jeff Hendrick and experienced Bryson running the midfield with a 20 goal + Chris Martin up top.

I honestly think they haven’t had a squad come close to that in terms of balance since that (even despite further play off campaigns)

I think Derby are a very admirable club I wish them well and hope to see them back in the Premier league soon

As a Derby supporter, this will be a cloud over our heads until we get back to the Premier League and stay up. We’ve had so many dark moments since this year. Hoping we are now finally on the bounce back.

Derby County are one of the biggest clubs in english football with one of the best fanbases, would love to see them back in the prem, especially after everything the EFL did to them

I have a personal belief that in the next 5 years we will have multiple Derby’s. The gap is getting bigger and bigger from the Prem to Championship sadly

Hi Vizeh, I'm from Russia and I've been watching your channel for a long time (even since FIFA). I am 24 years old, I suggest you that I will give you a detailed description of the situation with Russian and Ukrainian football, and I am ready to answer your questions and you will make a video, I think your audience will be interested.

About me: I do not support the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, I follow Russian football for 12 years, and I know in detail the history of the Russian national team since 1998. I myself write articles on football topics, and am deeply immersed in Russian and Ukrainian (and Belarusian) poli tics. Unfortunately, my English is not the best (although I scored 81/100 in English in our school final exams).

I’m a Derby fan. This team was never ready for the prem. we’ve arguably had better teams that missed out on promotion in the Mel Morris era. Glad we are back in the championship, but it’ll be a long road back

As a derby fan, I feel like we had a curse when we got promoted against west brom back in the 06/07 season and it ended in the 24/25 season. Hopefully now they will have a good luck charm

You should cover Swindon Town's only season in the Premier League for a future video.
Side note - Sunderland had the fewest points in the Premier League twice (19 points in 2002/03 and 15 points in 2005/06) prior to Derby County
