I am really enjoying this course, but someone needs to go over some of the English translations. For example, 'Maria had cooked when her husband arrived at home' is not something that anyone would say. As a result, it is not clear at all what is being said here. One cannot use 'at home' unless the person is already there (i.e. one would arrive home, not arrive at home). This mainly applies to home, as one can say, for example, 'he arrived at a home (for the disabled)'. Does the sentence mean: 'Maria had already cooked by the time her husband arrived home' or something different?

Hallo? Ich bedanke mich für das Video aber es gibt einen Punkt, den ich nicht verstehen konnte. ‚They were at home now‘ Ist das ein richtiger Satz? Wie kann man die beide ‚now‘ und ‚were‘ im gleichen Satz benutzen ? 😊

I am sorry but the sentence ( timer 10:07 ) does not feel right in the English language. Maria had been cooking till her husband arrived, , or Marie had finished cooking when her husband arrived.
