Looks pretty simple for beginners, you said something about split panes and tiling etc. - why not use a normal terminal and handle the multiple sessions on the server side? You can do quite some magic with tmux and since it works remotely you can keep your stuff open and re-attach to it later. Very useful! It's similar to screen in that way but to me a bit more user friendly.

Thx a lot. I've been searching for an SSH client with a modern UI these days, and your video just popped up on my YouTube homepage. Thank you.

For beginners it is simple to use a UI, but for those who have been using ssh for a while, you can do the same with any terminal (the one of your choice) with a bit of ssh-config and a few aliases. Personally I have the same thing on Iterm2 and Windows terminal

800MB software and total space of 2.5 GB installation on Flatpak. Hmmm...

SSH Tunneling is precisely what I needed. Using the terminal was getting long.

4:50 About tiling and stuff; i think an option would be tmux (to run on the server). I use it because it can easily do things like tiling and for keeping sessions open (e.g., running minecraft server in a tmux instance so you can access the servers console anytime and it is not in your way). However I am merely a novice user, so likely there are even better programs for that.

Another plug-in replacement would be Remmina which works almost identically.
As for the terminal tiling, you could run tmux or screen on the remote host which are terminal multiplexors, or you could run Terminator on the remote host which is a terminal emulator which includes the tiling functionality.

Any open source SSH Client app for Mac?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You missed a great opportunity to point out that using a password is considered less secure than using a key.

I personally am a fan of Termius, because it's cross platform and has the option to sync configs across your account (though this is optional)! So every now and then if I need to quickly SSH into a server, I can do so from either my desktop (which is triple booting Windows, EndeavourOS, and Pop - on Linux it's available as a snap package) or my phone (an Android - Google Pixel 3a XL), or even my iPad :)

EasySSH would be quite nice if I didn't need any sort of syncing/cross platform compatibility, though!

Regarding tiling. Why not switch tabs woth keyboard shortcut and combine tmux in your workflow

Dont have master password, passwords be saved in plain text. Group information dont be cached, you have to input group host a host.
