Max4Live Slink - Automated Filterbank - SonicLAB Review

Hypnus Records' Slink is an automated 32 band filterbank with modulation characteristics inspired from the behaviour of water. Sounds esoteric, but is in fact very versatile and musical.
It requires Ableton Live Suite 10/11.
With 32 bandpass filters that can be amplitude modulated ins many interesting ways and uses some very cool techniques to modulate and manipulate frequencies.

Slink is my drug of choice. I am addicted to the point where there is nothing but the grand void itself that can separate me from it. Used it on every single track since i got it and always find a new way to use it and modulate it. I crave it in the morning, I dream of it at night. If you use filters for sound design (not just cutting frequencies) then this is the natural step forward.

Killer device 🩸🩸🩸Huge on versatility. Although a good walkthrough, this demo barely scratches the surface of how it can be (mis)used (For instance, Slink loves to play w or manipulate signals of other devices) The other Spellbook device is equally as versatile. Obvious that a lot of thought went into these.
