I simply cannot imagine Morpheus being played by anyone else than Laurence Fishburne, let alone a white actor. Fishburne IS Morpheus, just like Wesley Snipes IS Blade and Malcolm McDowell IS Alex DeLarge. Same goes for Neo/Reeves and Trinity/Moss, but to a slightly lesser degree.
