The first informative video comparison of Haswell-E CPUs. Grrrreat!

I love the temperatures in your benchmarks after getting a thermally unimpressive haswell chip I realize temperatures are a great piece of info to to know about chips.

great video, i like your style of presenting and i for one am glad that you are concentrating on your own channel as i thought newegg had gone a bit stale. also a guy looking out for his grand-parents is a rare and commendable thing. good for you :)

Gamers just don't appear to need Haswell-E but it's hard to contemplate buying/building a new system intended to last 4-5 years on less than the latest generation chipset. Waiting and praying prices come down before an unplayable-on-my-system must-have game arrives is where I'm at. In 6-8 months will z97 still be the way to go?

Oh and if anyone is interested in multi GPU differences on the E CPUs: Linus had a video about it

This is awesome I would jump to this platform if ddr 4 was cheaper I'd go with the 5820k and a decent x99 motherboard

How large/long/quality were the render files at 3:25?

Wanting to overhaul my current rig with an i5-3470, 8GB DDR3 RAM and GTX 660 with the 5820k, 16GB DDR4 and a GTX 970 (or maybe R9 290 for $100 less). Nice video!

Mi Phenom 2 es soh faest dat i has jigahertszzz. No but seeing X99 introducing some actual valuable features and seeing z97 boards that will support broadwell chips it makes me want to grab a G3258 just for now.

Ok... CPU is not the biggest concern here.... 5820k is 380 bucks.... 4790k is 340 bucks.... The biggest concern is the MUST ddr4 for x99 and the x99 motherboard themselves... not

Interesting that the 5920k came so close to the 5930x. I've not seen any other comparisons of the 2 where they're both overclocked to the same speed.

Did you feel like the 5820k was lacking when it came to overclocking? That's I'm looking at, but I've heard the lottery is worse for it than the other two... :3

whats the max temp I can have on a 4690k?

I Managed to get my 5930K to 4.5 GHz using ROG Rampage V Extreme and Corsair H110 Cooler. Temps are max 70 at 100% load.

I didn't change anything in Voltages .. all auto.
Noticed that 125x36 is more stable than 100x45 .. for some reason the 100 strap doesn't work with me ..

90c on a cpu is waaay above acceptable imo.
