Fatal 2 Alarm Structure Fire Jackson, NJ 4/1/21

Around 8:30 Jackson Township put out a report of Structure Fire with possible entrapment. All Jackson Township companies responded on arrival with heavy fire throughout the house with reports of a possible jumper from the second floor. Three lines were put into operation and crews tried to begin a primary search of the structure. Tower was then put into operation. After the fire was knocked there were reports of a person inside they began to search further then noticed the second floor had collapsed into the first. They started to look for hotspots and hit them, an official on the scene said that there was one fatality. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Ocean County Serffis office as well as the Ocean County Fire Marshals.
