This is a recap video of a research project carried out at EMS Stockholm, which had two main goals. First and foremost creating my sound library of all the nice things I love about the "inside piano", foley-type material, later treated with speed manipulations procedures via reel-2-reel tape. The first part of that project culminated in the "Nomeri—Tere" ep out on Präsens Editionen, accompanied by a complementary booklet written by Mark Schwegler.

Secondly, I recorded a suite for "piano soundboard"—a novelty instrument as such—during the wee hours of the night, when the studios were at their quietest. I used an own Just Intonation tuning for those nocturnal improv sessions and recorded the soundboard with an array of 7 different microphones and fantastic preamps. That work is still looking for the right home.

Jealous. I had my sights on some piano guts a few years ago but had no way to transport it.
