Former DEA agent Frank Panessa sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off explaining why he joined the agency, which was a result of taking a test to work for a federal agency. Frank went on to speak about how they were using pizza shops as fronts for the operation, and Frank revealed how members of the Italian mafia gave information on the Sicilians after being arrested. From there, Frank explained how he was brought into the operation by being posed as a made man during a meeting with the Sicilians. Frank revealed how he went from supplying the Sicilians with cigarettes for their pizza shop, which allowed him to link up with them on criminal acts. Frank then explained how the government set him up with a new identity to make him look more legit, and he explained how then-assistant U.S. Attorney Rudy Giuliani helped him out. To make things look more legitimate, Frank was also set up with an import/export business and a penthouse apartment.
