Lap Record at Lime Rock

That this lap is done in two gears, fourth and fifth, tells you a lot about the speed you carry at a deceptively short track like Lime Rock Park.

In July, NASA Northeast racer Luiz Serva set the new GTS3 lap record at Lime Rock Park using only those two gears, lapping the circuit in just 55.76 seconds and topping 130 mph on the front straight, all accompanied by the glorious soundtrack of a BMW S54 straight six with individual throttle bodies. Well done.

Love Limerock (lived in the house across from the entrance road when I was 3 months old - in 1963 😜)

Nice work. 55s is moving in any car let alone a relatively modestly powered E46 M3. Are you running aero in addition to 315 A7s?

Very nice and you left off some time in the left hander.

At the exit of the left hander, you need to be as far to the left as possible to setup the maximum radius for turn 4 - max radius = max speed thru the turn and max speed at the end of "no name" straight.... Give up some speed at the apex of the left hander to be sure you can complete the correct positioning for entering turn 4!! Low 56's in a FF on slicks is
