March is a work by George Fredrich Handel arranged by David Paxton from the collection Pedal-less Postludes for organ and performed by Mark Scholtz. This is suitable for a postlude, a festive prelude, or a wedding processional or recessional.

Mark Scholtz is the Director of Music and Organist at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Creve Coeur, Missouri. A graduate of the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, studying organ with Haskell Thomson, he subsequently, in 1990, studied interpretation of the organ works of Arthur Wills with the composer at Ely Cathedral, England. In June of 2004, Mr. Scholtz began a four year association with the Wicks Organ Company of Highland, Illinois, first as a flue voicer and then as Tonal Director. During those years he was involved in several projects that achieved national attention most notably the organ at The First Congregational Church of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Instruments of his own design of which he is particularly proud, are at Saint Anne’s Anglican Church, Nassau, the Bahamas; and The First Presbyterian Church, Pitman, New Jersey. For the last four years, Mr. Scholtz has been the co-host of “The King of Instruments,” a weekly, hour-long radio show broadcast in St. Louis and sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and the Organ Media Foundation. Had it not been for a particularly strong pull to the realm of church music and the pipe organ, Mr. Scholtz would, most likely, have been an architect. In 2014 he began an adventure into the world of homes and architecture as a Realtor. In 2017, he joined firm of Dielmann Sotheby’s International Realty, and feels a fortunate man for being able to work in three worlds that are each rooted in art and creativity.
