We were making boards like this back in the late 60's. They worked GREAT then and still do! Most guys back then didn't know how to approach them. But for those of us that understood them they were much fun!!

Have a board like this and it is so much fun. My wife tsaid to me when I was thinking about buying it "love you gotta get it then you can have fun in the small surf when you normally just get pi%sed off! She was right..thanks Wifey :) xx

How's this ride compared to a fish?, seems kinda of similar being short/wide none tapering rails?

Patrick: the rocker wouldn't really make it great for pitchy waves but as long as you can keep the fins in the water and not pearl it you can go head high + and be fine

These boards seem incredibly small. I'm 6' and 175 pounds, what would be the ideal size for me?

Just spoke to a shaper about one. I recommended 5'4" for myself (145/5'10"), but I'm curious how low you can go. What's a 5'0" like, a 5'2", 5'3"?
