There are some powerful stratagems and enh there and also other stuff to explore for sure, like a Winged Tyranid prime with -1 to get hit enh attached to 20 gargoyles to give them also 5+ invul and sometimes -1 to get wound.
But the turning point in my opinion is the dataslate... if they turn the ranged warrior BS down to 3+ then I can see some future for this detachment on the competitive scene, otherwise ranged warriors will still be terrible...

My first impressions are I am not a fan.

I was hoping a detachment that represents the air going poisonous using auras and stuff.
