The views of Puebla from the top looked amazing. I can’t wait to visit Puebla, it’s officially on the list. I hear it’s both old and modern, and to top it all off, the awesome food.

This is and Gloria in Oaxaca.
I loved this video because even though we live in Oaxaca, a piece of my heart is in Cholula too.
What changed in Cholula to make it hip was the University of the Americas which was moved there in 1970.
I was in the first class, September of 1970. From that time on, Cholula would never be the same.
In the early '70s Cholula was not a destination nor was it a magic Town.
There were few tourists & many of the streets were dirt.
I went in that pyramid with candles & sugar to mark my way through the tunnels. I only went in about 100 meters, but still had trouble getting out, and was relieved when I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you for doing this video.

OMG guys, I loved this video! Cholula is the very first place I visited on my first trip to Mexico back in 2008. It's where I fell in love with Mexico. Back then I was able to take the tour of the tunnels inside the pyramid and it was AMAZING! Talk about feeling the Energy of a place, that was it. And Heidi, you must have intuitively known to walk the stairs to the top using the zig-zag steps. That's how the Olmecs, Mayans, Aztecs walked up their pyramids, that's the reason that most pyramid steps are very narrow, they were built to accommodate your feet at an angle, not straight on (and it's much easier). Also, that movement mimics the movement of a snake, honoring the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, known as The Feathered Serpent, also known as Kukulcán by the Maya. Loving your adventures and love you guys! ☮️❤️❤️❤️😎

You did an amazing job highlighting the city and the archeological zone. Adam, you are so right there is a definite special feeling when you are in front of the Giant Pyramid of Cholula. The murals were amazing also. You two got a great view from the top. When I went it was hard to see the volcanos when we were there. Great recommendations.

As always you guys are the best promotional videos for Mexico. Your video editing is spectacular, giving us tiny flashes of almost everything. You guys are always smiling and having fun. Having watched your videos from the start I think this is the first one were Adam only cracked one corny joke. He had to when he was holding a corn cob. And no hug bugs where you were? It's so enjoyable to be living in Mexico vicariously through you guys. When I lived in Ajijic for two years I wanted to travel the country like you guys but never got the chance. I miss it every day.

I love the markets too. They can sometimes be a bit overwhelming and take time to get used to but that is where you will find the most authentic food and experiences.

I like your videos. I like how you show the culture and the food. That's very important to me when I travel. You show a lot of the things that I'm interested in. Also the architecture is important. These videos pretty much show a nice well-balanced travel. Good luck to the both of you

Cool church bell sound! I LOVE bells - they really are, along with food and traditions, a part of the 'fingerprint" of a region! Solos in the everyday soundtrack of life for everyone in the area. I can remember the church bells from my hometown and the noontime firestation whistle meant LUNCH... I hadn't heard of most of the cities you guys have introduced me to - but they've all been incredible. The history is so rich. I LOVE that the native spirit is dominant and these sacred places are designed to be shared rather than fenced up and "owned." Also loved that incredibly ornate church... So much gold on so many curvy surfaces - light bouncing around the room.

I do love a good Jazz club. It is sad the history behind some of the greatest historical buildings. Market food is always amazing. I want one of those bowls. Mmm mole 🤤. Oh I love the native ruins. Great historical exposition. Wow what a church and gorgeous views from above. What an awesome city! Thanks for sharing.
