Vogue Science - Brother

Presenting: Tact and Tone, a collection of tracks made using both the Elektron Digitone and Digitakt.

I'm so glad to have had the experience of using these two iconic pieces in tandem! I must say however - the wealth of choices is paralyzing when sitting down with these two. The sampling capabilities of the Digitakt allow it to sound like anything, and the Digitone's FM sound design gives it an edge in complimenting it in so many ways. Where to start???

At first I found myself settling into the sound you can hear in the first half, but I couldn't sit still with it. Knowing the possibilities, I had to shake it up just a little, and into the second half I found myself experimenting a bit more. I've barely scratched the surface of what these two can do together however, and there's much more I'll have in store for them.

I found creating these tracks to be a fascinating experience - I hope you find them fascinating to listen to!
