Being kicked out of a gun club for having poor aim just to go out and be immortalized for that trait is wild.

Apparently, your local Walmart has better radio communication than the Secret Service.

It's still hard to believe that Thomas was able to get onto a roof with direct line of sight, take his time to set up a good shot, and then fire and miss *eight* times before being taken down. That's an almost overwhelmingly bad level of incompetence from both the law enforcement and secret service, that in almost any other scenario where our gunman wasn't apparently a Stormtrooper trainee would've led to his death

I love how people say "he purchased *50 rounds* of amunition" because it sounds more dramatic and compelling than simply saying "he purchased *1 box* of ammunition."

"protect and serve" "there is no legal duty to protect" as a german these two statements seem like they oppose each other and make the police kind of useless

Dear God. "Other Shooters in his age range." Can we take a moment to realize how f**ked up it is that that phrase even exists today?

I like how he's like shooter has no online presence and then advertises how to remove your online presence

The guy was spotted using a range finder to look at the sniper coverage at least half an hour beforehand and was a known/identified threat, and nobody acted. Half an hour and they still let the presidential candidate out. The entire thing is bizarro world levels of incompetence. And the SS still not having anything more than a 5 minute, 4 question session with the government makes it even wilder. THAT is how conspiracies are born and solidify. When people are given half the puzzle, nothing about the pieces make sense, and the government repeatedly comes out saying nothing happened.

For those surprised about the "no duty to protect" look into the Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales case cited in the video. Noncustodial parent picks-up children in violation of a restraining order. The state has a law *requiring* officers to enforce restraining order due to historic under enforcement. Mother calls police 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, 10:10 pm, and 12:15 am told to simply wait for children to be returned, no action taken. 3:20 am the father shows up at the station and is killed in a shoot out with police. Children are found dead in car having been shot before the encounter. Courts rule police can't be sued. State can't even enforce their own democratically passed law to *force* police to do their job, the police's right to pick their own priorities is consider more important in the eyes of the court.

I was so confused by the title, I thought I was gonna click on the video and he'd be like, "turns out that was totally legal"

The ad-transitions were particularly spicy in this one.

'Wanna attempt to assassinate the president? You will need lawyers like us!'

'Wanna be hard to trace like the wannabe-assassin? Use our sponsor, Incogni!'

Those gave me a nervous chuckle, alright...

"He was asked to leave bc he was a poor shot"

LMAO I CAN SEE WHY

"He probably doesn't need today's sponsor Incogni."
... he definitely doesn't need today's sponsor.

To say that Thomas Crooks "Probably doesn't need today's sponsor Incogni" seems like a bit of a understatement.

"dangerous people, we have criminals"

at the exact same time he's saying "officer, there's someone on the roof!"

OK, LegalEagle: HOW exactly will Incogni enforce a takedown notice against data brokers?
It seems like a fair question, since you're hawking their service.

In the EU, a citizen has legal rights to demand a company remove that person's personal information.
So far as I know, the US has no such legislation: Congress is much more concerned with protecting the rights of businesses to conduct their business unfettered by legislation giving YOU rights to YOUR information.

You're the LegalEagle! Prove it: tell us how Incogni actually does what it claims it does!

5:23 _"Did you try to assassinate the President? You need a damn good lawyer! We can help!"_
That is a _bizarre_ and ballsy way to advertise your Law Firm, and I respect that.

It's obvious what's going to happen here buying ladders in the USA is going to become much harder going forward.

"Yeah, it is illegal to try to kill a candidate for presidency."
Please, explain to your presidents that this is also valid for other countries, ok?
