Donald Trump loves to say his perceived enemies are “worse than Watergate”. And, of course, his memory is selective and self-serving. So who better to ask about Trump’s obsession with the Nixon-era scandal than the people who investigated it? Former Watergate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks and Elizabeth Holtzman – who helped write the articles of impeachment against Nixon as a freshman congresswoman – join Mehdi to discuss.

Since 1969, Basically since Nixon, Republican presidential administrations have 121 criminal indictments and 89 convictions, while Democrats have had 3 and 1 respectively. Before that it was pretty even.
And what party is the criminal party ? Vote Blue !

"When the President does it, that means it's not illegal." — President Richard Nixon, in a 1977 interview with David Frost
The Constitution says I can do whatever I want as President" - President Donald Trump July 24, 2019

To be clear .. The Constitution does not say that 🙄

Definition of a "raid" a sudden attack on an enemy by troops, aircraft, or other armed forces in warfare. Definition FBI warrant: FBI warrant a document issued by a legal or government official authorizing the police or some other body to make an arrest, search premises, or carry out some other action relating to the administration of justice. CONTEXT MATTERS.

Trump makes these statements out of ignorance. And it works out great because the targeted audience are his supporters.

Nixon, no matter how corrupt he was, at least had enough respect for the office of the presidency and for our country and resigned.
