I like how Ancelotti is able to balance using tactics relevant to the opponent with the individual quality of his players.

This is why I say Carlo is the best manager ever. You guys can keep saying that it’s pep but for me no one comes close to Carlo Ancelotti. He takes what he has and makes it work, it doesn’t matter the personnel or player profile. If he goes to a team with super quick attackers, he’ll play quick vertical football. If his midfielders are slow, he’ll play more of a mid block. If he has top players everywhere, he gives them complete freedom to link up everywhere on the pitch. If he has to play defensive, he’ll go and shut the opposition down. His most underrated ability is his ability to make in game tactical adjustments. I’m a Madrid fan and the amount of times we have a bad first half or bad first 30 minutes then absolutely destroy the opponents in the second half is crazy. His man management is second to none. He has won every single one of the top 5 leagues. He’s simply that good.

We felt the absence of Kroos in the build up phase. Yesterday, no midfielder had the ability to keep the ball under pressure and break the lines or orientate the game like Toni did. Tchouameni needs to improve his skills to play in this regista role.

The most outstanding thing about the real madrid squad between their players and the coach is how they get better and learn to play even greater as the game progress, the simple stats show that!! how they magically win their most important games in the second half😵‍💫😵‍💫

That build up play tactic is just something we haven't seen it from your modern coaches Pep, Klopp, Arteta...ext.. A pure master plan from Don Carlo.

Good lord this video makes so much sense of the game I watched yesterday. That pace, individual quality, and the will to win is just incredible. Its scary being a defender against these lot

Ancelotti is like Real Madrid, a Chameleon, they adapt to any situation and can play different styles, that makes them so dangerous, they can play a possession based style, if that doesn't work they start attacking more directly and aggressive with through passes, they can drop deep and counter attack, they can press high or let the other team take initiative and not suffer much, it's always something different, and the players also make it even better by being able to move across the pitch changing positions and responsibilities.

great analysis, i was wondering why carvajal and mendy were droping deep while rudiger and militao were placing themselves further behind atalanta's midfielders, but that sums it all up

that match reflects how they will play most of the time this year.

with Kroos, there's controlled tempo and flank switching.
without Kroos, long balls from their own half were quite inaccurate last night.

the 2mids, and in some cases three, with Bellingham are both
anchors and box to box depending on the game

in attacking phase, they will be more direct and rely even more on individual creativity up front

We might have seen a way better Real Madrid if there was more time to train because they were missing the attackers, main midfielders & full backs for all pre-season. As the season goes on, I think this will be perfected & we'd see adjustments to the holes/flaws, like we saw last season when Real Madrid has issues with crossing & the defense.

We getting Carlo Ancelotti Tactico, nah Madrid going invincible

I like the fluidity between the attackers and their ability to switch positions or drop deep to a play maker position, but long balls may back fire and Courtios had 0 accuracy executing them

And they say Don Carlo has no tactics this video was joy to watch

It was so good. To be honest I felt like I was watching the 2006 World Cup football because of the tactics. Real Madrid looked like an 06 France. Because the way they played was so spaced out and individual. Bellingham and Mbappe were like a Zidane and Henry pairing. I was like damn teams be doing all that tiki taka just to be beatened by the italian style tactics.

We got Vini playing the Kroos role before GTA6 😂😂

Spot on the weakness of man-to-man marking is when you play against a team filled with guys that can dribble and madrid have lots of such players
