Not to be a downer, but my mom was my best friend. She passed in 2017. Even when I wasn’t living at her house, I was there just about every day hanging out. I miss her terribly. Cherish every moment with mom Dweeb. You’ve got it made bud. Thanks for sharing your DOS setup. 🧡🥤🍕

How come you don't have 500k subs? The storytelling, the jokes, the LIGHTING, the subtle little details. I love you, Dweeb.

Tech Dweeb is a Gr8 story teller... oh and for those trolling on and on about face reveals and such.. how can it happen???? those hands you see wrapped in the orange and black stripes, are our hands. we do not look at our face when we type, we look at our hands and keyboard controllers. These are the virtual hands that guide us through the Tech and Retro Gaming World. Thank You Tech Dweeb for the reminiscing, and for the teachings, for those that know no other world but point and click.

My granpda got me into DOS in 1990...we used to go to conventions and buy/trade old floppy disk programs with folks and spent so much time together playing Hoyle's Book of Games & Police Quest. I flew back from Afhhanistan in 2013 to be by his side when he passed, and we got to reminisce about all those times. Truly a great memory that you stirred up today, Dweeb...thank you!

These videos give me flashbacks to the 286/386 days also playing Commander Keen and the most difficult for no apparent reason Indiana Jones games of my childhood.

I was literally just thinking about when you'd make part 3.

Descent....first time i ever felt motion sickness when playing it. When jazz jackrabbit came out, was blown away by the smoothness, speed and music. Lots of nostalgia. Well Doom was magic lol. Shareware days were the best.

That is single-handledly the one system I have not emulated AT ALL, tried once many years ago, it didn't work first attempt so I just never got back to trying. This guide will be perfect to get me to finally dive back into that layer of my childhood, THANKS DWEEB, YOU DA BEST!!!

Loving the Dos content. I especially like crossover videos where dos games on handhelds are explored.

How did I know this video was coming soon? This is great TechDweeb, I appreciate these. Where I wasn’t much of a Dos gamer, though, I did have a Win95 computer and many games were Dos executables so this is helpful

Great content, and video series. Here is my DOOM story. One of the first games I bought in 1995 was DOOM, and yes it was the floppy drive version like you had. My neighbor asked if she could borrow it to play. I said sure since I already had it installed on my PC. She didn't return it, so after about a week I went to her house to get my box and game back. I had no idea that she was a chain smoker, and the box just reeked of cigarettes. I had to leave it in the garage for weeks to get rid of that smell (which I hate). I never let her know when I bought a new game again.

I love your Doom story! So nice to hear a personal account of your experience with the game. I hope you'll consider making more videos with this theme.

Only been watching you for about 3 weeks, but it's so refreshing to see a retro gaming channel with a unique feel to it in a sea of mediocre copycat content. EDIT: And yes, I subbed mate!
