Very cute! Try using a primer or gesso instead of the acrylic as a base layer as it will help with the absorbency of the wood and give you a smooth start 😊

Use gesso next time if you don’t want the paint getting absorbed into the wood, it acts as a primer, and a white base coat

It looks amazing ❤❤ but to me, resin coasters are the worst lol alot of coasters are wood, cork or even condensed cardboard, and they kind of drink up the condensation. But resin coasters are deff bets for just decoration, because in use the resin gets slippery and doesn't absorb the condensation at all. And the glass sometimes skates across the surface 😂 or it can dribble onto the table, this defeating its own purpose 😂 yes...ive been personally victimized by resin coasters i spent days making 😂

hey!! love the finished product.. i suggest using gesso or primer for the wood, it helps with sealing the porosity of the wood so you don’t have to go in w so many layers of paint
