Thank you for these updates from a fellow Sport-L owner. I hope your paint lasts much longer than the White Orchid Pearl they used in 2010s Hondas. I average 39 in my AWD CR-V.

Bought our CRV Hybrid Sport L in December 2023 and 8k miles later love it. Tires are fine but will change to Michelin when Bridgestone wear out. We are retired owners and plan on keeping the CRV.

Your car review carries a lot of impact versus other car reviewers, you own it. Nice job.

I have the best car that I have ever owned - 2023 CRV Sport Touring. I am a low mileage senior driver with the car in ECON mode all the time. I don't spend a lot of time on freeways and take slower back roads most of the time. To me, 50 is better than 80 because you will see so much more!

I have a 24 Accord Hybrid Sport 11.4k miles. I have not had any problems. (same drive train, except no awd)

Got oil changed at 8k.

Paul, on your bike rack issues, there is a setting to turn off parking sensors, I don't remember exactly where it is but I do recall I was using the 9in touch screen to scroll through different settings last week.. I also downloaded the owners manual, I find it easier to search and I remember a comment in the manual that if you disable the parking sensors it will affect low speed AUTO braking. In your case thats desirable.

Thank you so much. We just bought a Honda SPORT L CRV HYBRID. Your videos were practical, real life driving information, and very useful.

Thanks for the update. Recently I made note that the charge level on my Pixel 8 pro with a case was at 77% before starting a ~40 minute drive with the phone on the charger. When I got home, it was at 100%. I wasn't using any apps during the drive. I thought that was OK. You're not the only one who's said the charger stinks. Ours seems OK. 2024 CRV Sport L Hybrid FWD 3500 mi.

We just bought a CRV hybrid L and love it!! The road noise should go away once you change the tires. Bridgestone tires are made for performance and not road noise. Can't wait to swap them for a set of Continentals!

I have the exact same backup sensors issue with my 2024 Pilot and a bike rack. I just haven't had time to turn it off. My wife recently purchased a 2024 CR-V Sport-L Hybrid, so this is useful information. She also had the trailer hitch installed for the same reason - for a bike rack.

Looking forward to your 5k Civic review! I just bought a Civic Touring. Not quite to 500 miles yet. I'm a little nervous after you mentioned all the squeaks and rattles you're dealing with, but so far mine's been solid.

Regarding the reverse error, the same thing has happened to me, and in fact, it's not a problem. Every time you turn the vehicle off and on, the system always re-enables 'Low Speed Braking Control.'

To fix it, you have to disable it every time you turn it on. The car always enables it for safety reasons.

Great video. Good info, clearly explained and made relevant as to why you are showing/telling. Thank you for that. QUESTION: what camera do you use for your videos, the images are always sharp and the audio is very clean.

Thanks a lot for your effort on making such videos. Im also thinking on getting one of this as a family SUV, i like its smooth ride, plenty roomy interior and back space. Was considering RAV4 too, but exterior of Honda is much nicer for me, so i stick with Honda CR-V hybrid model. The only minus of this car it does not have a spare tire, so ill have to buy one and carry with me on a long out of town drive.

There are 2 ways to launch the CRV. If you brake torque, it will not "fake shift" as it does by simply mashing the accelerator. I don't know whether that provides any faster times. The reason it does that is the gas engine clutches in from a stop in high load conditions to allow towing. Something that the previous system could not do. Ergo, if you want all the ponies from "the hole", torque braking is the way to go. "I just hit VTEC, yo ! 😂
We love our 2 CRV hybrids.
