- Dequan Jackson (LB)
- Isaiah Johnson (CB)
- Jason Maitre (CB)
- Bayron Matos (OL)
- Derrick McLendon (LB)
- Hayden Rucci (TE)

The Dolphins roster moves with futures deals are a standard offseason procedure. Every NFL team does this: adding players who were on practice squads to help fill out the 90-man offseason roster and to compete for a roster spot in the preseason.

Bayron Mataos was an undrafted free agent for the Dolphins this year. Mataos was once a college basketball player who later walked on to South Florida’’s football team. Another future player Ryan Hayes was drafted in the 7th round by the Dolphins in 2023 and was brought back to the team’s practice squad in November. Hayden Rucci stood out to Dolphins fans with his play in the preseason, catching 7 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Ryan Hayes also spent 2 weeks on the Indianapolis Colts active roster before returning to the Dolphins. Hayes played in the Dolphins’s week 15 game against the Texans.

We cut Elijah Higgins for Conner and Higgins contributes more for the Cardinals in 1 game than Conner has done his whole time with the Dolphins. Just saying.
