I think the only welsh food I would add is bara brith, which is a fruited loaf with spices, it's also best warm and fresh 👌
In terms of what goes in a welsh cake, it's traditionally currants rather than raisins, with butter, sugar, flour, salt, egg and milk. Family recipes often have different spices in - in my family we use cinnamon and nutmeg 😊

Lush video, really sweet way to spend the day. Really interested in glamorgan sausages! And always love a rarebit ❤️ I don't know if it's an old wive's tale, but I was always told that a rarebit actually does come from the word rabbit; apparently when Wales was much poorer than England (because of unfair taxation, mainly) the English used to joke that if a Welshman offered to serve you rabbit it'd probably only be bread and cheese. Though this story does sound a bit like an Englishman's fantasy 🤔
