Fun Fact: The Scaled-Furnace used to need the player to socket red gems into it to fuel it.

Out of all the gems in the Don't Starve franchise, the red gem seems to be the most useful.

You forget to add this within the Guild [ trading a blue gem with Pig king also give red gem too ] unless they change that

Blue - cold
Purple - power energy
Green - resources
Orange - transportation
Yellow - light, and sun
Opaque - light and moon

When the ruins reset, are they regenerated? Or are they "rolled back" to their state at first server-start?

Honestly, I feel like the Fire Staff should at least light Fire Pits at max time at least. Then it would at least have SOME use. Yes, you could just chunk some logs in but it'd still be better than its current state. Hopefully we'll see some potential updates to it or something to make it useful. I mean, the one man band for example got a lot more useful with farming and prior to that it at least had some niche uses here and there.

Speaking of nightmare fuel, I suddenly realise that you haven't ever done a nightmare fuel video. Would this be a good idea?

Don't know if you've ever mentioned this Beard but the Thulecite statues that we mine for gems, the gem that's socketed in the statue changes every few nightmare cycles. Not sure how many exactly I just know it happens cause I've mined statues cause they were at one time a blue gem or red gem and upon running past them at a later point they contained green ones.
