Wow! This was an excellent introductory video on why we need to upgrade our learning systems. The question now is, "What does a Level 6 learning system look like? Memory palaces, mind mapping? What do we actually need to do?"

I mean straight off the bat, this guy ain’t livin’, he’s just trying to “catch up, ” while constantly working. No social life, hobbies, or sleep, you’re not livin’. That rest time and looking forward to something everyday, a pride in yourself and what you’ve achieved seems necessary as hell.

For sure a plan is needed, a set goal and plan so you’re on the right track instead of spending “10, 000 mindlessly working”

16:20 changing how you
There’s always a cost of change when learning how to learn something, and most of it is unlearning mistakes you’ve been making.
1.) figure out next few waves of challenges
2.) be humble

And what I take from this is to look towards experts already at those levels you’d like to be at to see what you’ll be facing in the future and what they do to match those challenges, how they learn, how they apply themselves, what mistakes they made and how they get through them.

“If someone’s already failed before, there’s no need for you to do it, learn from their mistakes. That is wisdom being passed down.”

I guess the idea is that you can not improve your performance by just putting more effort
You should learn how to do it and kinda sharpen your axe more and more over time
And the point is that it's not a linear process you gotta keep exprimenting till you finally craft your own customised study technique and hit the jackpot
And you that by unlearning your wrong habits which takes 80 percent of your time and learning new ones in the remainder

That extra 20 percent of time you add in to improve your skills makes the effort you put in and cost of change worthy so you wont fall behind before every exam

During this process getting counsel from who succeeded the challenge you are facing and learning from their mistakes would put you ahead even more

That all makes sense but I think it’s really hard to try to understand which you’d skills to upgrade and how for the next few steps of change. Like that… wow. I think in theory, it makes so much sense but in practice, it’s so hard to understand or conceive how life would be a few steps from now.

Future-proof approach is exactly what will be used if our school systems were mature because it is fundamental and natural way of progression also it force the brain to apply the priming method and all higher-level learning approaches without even highlighting them or explaining it to student which may be "counterproductive for young students".
