How does this explain how to hide an album ?

Once you hide the hidden album, is there a way to view it? Or do you need to go back to settings and unhide to view

Google photos has it. Go to google photos. Click library, go to utilities, scroll all the way down to locked folder. You can back up your hidden photo's or you can turn it off. If you turn it off it will only stay on that device. If on it will switch devices when you switch to a new device

I'm confused. I have an Album full of surgery photos but there is no option to Hide individual albums. Yes, I can hide each photo but then they won't be organized in to an album or folder WITHIN the hidden file. Correct? If that's the case, it's absolutely ridiculous. Who wants to throw a bunch of photos into a hidden file without being able to have them sorted?

This is a little misleading: there’s a “hidden” function in “utilities” in Photos. It is effectively an album where you can store photos you don’t want others to see. However it is currently impossible to hide an album per se, which is really dumb of Apple. You can only add individual photos to the “hidden” album. Perhaps it’ll change with iOS 18…
