Tutocorin Custodial Deaths: DMK Chief MK Stalin Accuses AIADMK For Attempted Cover-Up

DMK Chief MK Stalin has slammed the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu and said attempts were made to “save people” involved in the custodial deaths of Jayaraj and Beniks, who succumbed to injuries after being sodomised and beaten mercilessly.

While a total of five police personnel have been arrested in connection with the case of the custodial deaths, Stalin accused AIADMK of wasting more than a week to save the accused. Stalin added that it was only due to the mass uprising that pressure increased on the government to take action in the case.

“Arrests have been made, but everyone involved in the case must be booked. This should not be just an eyewash,” Stalin said.
