Lixouri Marina is a small marina, located in the village of Lixouri, the second largest community on the island of Kefalonia. It is located 30 km west of Argostoli, surrounded by a blue bay, overlooking the capital.

The entrance to the marina is from the northeast, between the long free-standing breakwater on the east and the shorter one on the south. The only available space may be on the third pontoon on the north side, where there are several stowed moorings tied to buoys.

These moorings are owned by the charter company Sea Trek, and you may be lucky enough to find a free one for a short time. The depth on the pontoon is 3.75 meters. There is water and electricity on the pontoons. Shelter here is excellent in all conditions.

Sources claim that Lixouri was built on the site of the ancient city of Pali. The central square of Plateia Petritsi deserves special attention. It is surrounded by many cozy old cafes, attracting crowds of tourists in the summer season. Lixouri is known for its rich cultural traditions and many festivals are held here.
The restaurants in the area are absolutely fantastic. The most popular are Captain Nicolas, Antonello's at Xi, I Scream for Ice-Cream, Taverna Ksouras and Novita.
Hotels are everywhere: Apollonion Resort & Spa, Petani Bay Hotel, La Cite Hotel and Hotel Summery. Here you can book excursions to nearby islands.
