Bandstand definitely deserves a place on this list! an amazing cast, who played their instruments on stage, a moving story line, tony winning choreography and a unique and wonderful score. Can you tell i'm a little bitter it closed way too soon

I'm sorry...people thought a Broadway musical was "too depressing?" So we're just gonna ignore Cabaret, Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening...

I adored "Title of Show." It was hilariously meta, and so creative. It's a very unique way of telling a story about two guys writing a musical, plus it stars the fabulous Heidi Blickenstaff.

We need a revival if Ragtime with Denee Benton as Sarah. Since she is playing Audra McDonald’s daughter in The Gilded Age it would be perfect casting, and she could pull it off

My favorite show! Didn't expect it to be first on the list, but I'm _soooo_ pleasantly surprised!!! It's long overdue for a revival

Tuck Everlasting deserved a longer run. I even bought tickets to see it but then it closed. 😔

I always thought that the 2016 revival of falsettos closed far too early - it's easily the best version of the show and it's a shame that it wasn't around for long.

I loved "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Side Show". I also think "The Pirate Queen" should have been on this list.

Fun fact: Christy Carlson Romano played the role of Mary Phagan in Parade, and this was BEFORE she became a Disney Channel star with Even Stevens and Kim Possible.

When i heard the revival of Side Show was closing sooner than expected, my mom and I got tickets for the second last show. It is still one of my favorites Ive ever seen on broadway. Such an amazing show

Bloody, Bloody, Andrew Jackson was such an incredible and smart musical/critique that didn’t find the audience it deserved when it released. Dare I say it is the best musical about American History👀👀👀

Bridges of Madison County.
One of the most beautiful scores in recent memory, spectacular performances...I legitimately don't understand how it failed.

The musical is also SO much better than the movie!

I agree with "The Bridges of Maddison County." I was lucky enough to see it when it was on Des Moines. I still listen to that album every once in a while.

There is a video of Cheyenne Jackson and Jeremy Jordan singing Who Will Love Me As I Am, and at one point they sing it in the original key. It’s amazing

Side Show (the original 1997? version) was magic. Wish they hadn't messed with the original material so much for the revival.

Parade. That musical still haunts me. I saw a bootleg of TR Knight as Leo some years back; it was amazing.

Part of the problem with The Wild Party was that a separate version by a different writing team and cast opened off broadway at the same time as the broadway version.
