The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gibraltar says the climate change plan agreed by world leaders in Paris last week will bring about a different, more sustainable world.

Professor Daniella Tilbury was speaking to GBC after nearly 200 countries made a pact to attempt to limit the temperature on the earth from rising too quickly and too high. Among the things agreed were: to reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gas produced and increase renewable types of energy; to keep global temperature increase "well below" 2 degrees and to try to limit it to 1.5; to review progress every five years; and to spend 100 billion dollars a year in climate finance for poorer countries by 2020.
