University Vice Chancellor says global climate change plan will bring about different world

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gibraltar says the climate change plan agreed by world leaders in Paris last week will bring about a different, more sustainable world.
Professor Daniella Tilbury was speaking to GBC after nearly 200 countries made a pact to attempt to limit the temperature on the earth from rising too quickly and too high. Among the things agreed were: to reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gas produced and increase renewable types of energy; to keep global temperature increase "well below" 2 degrees and to try to limit it to 1.5; to review progress every five years; and to spend 100 billion dollars a year in climate finance for poorer countries by 2020.
