Give your boss an animation for its rage and add shakes to the game as soon as you enter the boss battle ground because he LANDED in the battle ground like a cool landing 😎
Also remove the ammo thing in the top right and add a health bar for your boss and your laser could be better by being smaller then that and lastly add a animation when he dies he falls down to the fire under (DONT IGNORE)

If you don’t want to make a lives system make a deaths system, if you die 0 time you get 3 coins, 3 times you get 2 coins etc. And give the coins before the boss because they are gonna die at least 50 times.

This isn't technically your first bossfight if you count the player vs monster levels (though that is _sort of_ a bossfight) or even the GDPS platformer you made a long time ago with a real bossfight.
