There are a lot of negative comments about this amp so when I was looking for a small amp for low volume home practice I was surprised at how good this sounded.

It has a nice Fender clean sound which I use with a couple of pedals( Boss analog delay and Blues Driver).
Although I prefer to use the Bluesdriver pedal with the clean setting, I can get a pretty usable distortion sound with the gain channel by turning the treble down low to tame the high end.

The aux in works well for playing along with backing tracks and is a nice addition for an amp this size. I have been very happy with it and save my larger amps for band practice and performing.

Best mod for these things is to add a speaker out jack, they are better as a head than a combo, plug one into a 2X12 or 4X12 and you'll be amazed at how good they sound.

I've been looking for a small amp I could use in my bedroom since the other amps I own are in my basement and they are too loud for bedroom use. Is this one loud and quiet enough to use in a small bedroom with a guitar with either passive or active pickups?

i have the same model and on some of the pickups there's a buzzing noise coming from the amp when i'm not playing. it makes the same noise when i turn the gain too high also. do you know what could be causing this problem?

For only like $30 more bucks you can buy the 20G is which just way better. Still small and easy to move. Has a lot of FX tones and presets that I know you'll like. Don't waste you're money on a dust gathering device.
