Arm good, recall bad. Thankfully there's now ways to not just disable, but fully remove recall from windows 11 24h2. Chris Titus tech did a video on this, and plans to include the fix in his microwin release.

For now you can disable it easily with the below commands

`DISM /online /get-featureinfo /featurename:Recall` will prove its present

`DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Recall` will disable it and win11 file explorer will still work fine

I keep saying this! I am imagining a steam deck 2 with an elite cpu, they already have been secretly working on arm-proton forever.... I bet it would run games amazingly and have the battery life of half a day.

i dont see arm chips being the future of windows but its some amazing tech and i can definitely see it being the future of office space and general workstation hardware (other than specialised stuff like 3d or other heavy rendering work) i can see arm being the go to for most office jobs within the next 5 - 10 years due to its efficiency and honestly great performance for the price. though that being said, i dont see it going like apples silicon and becoming the main chipset used in higher end pc's, obviously it has that potential but the biggest benefit of pc is its customisability and how specialised it can be and arm just isnt that so i cant ever see it replacing that market. still as someone who enjoys having some tech that isnt specialised i love how we finally have a windows and linux equivalent of apples silicon for general workstation stuff. i cant wait to see where this goes.

I wouldn't be able to daily drive one due to games and stuff not being compatible but a device like this seems absolutely perfect for school or work.

Qualcom's external monitor capabilities are limited. I couldn't get 4k at 180Hz on my 34" ultrawide monitor...

It's insane to think that phone chips are on par with laptop chips now. Just a few years ago, you couldn't run a professional office suite on a phone, and now we have laptops with phone chips giving performance better than some gaming laptops.
