Which is your favorite... This new 20mm F1.8G, the 24mm F1.4 GM, or the 35mm F1.8?

Your right a good 20 especially for video on FF is really nice - you can also crop in. My favourite two lenses if I have to travel and work light are a 20 and 50 for hybrid work - I know I can get the job done with those two lenses.

Great video, amazing flow and music. I've been watching a few videos, this one was the one that made me getting this lens the deciding factor, up till now, as I just ordered and haven't gotten the lens yet, I've only had the 28-70mm kit lens that came with my Sony a7ii. This will be my first lens since I bought the camera and I'm very excited, I wanted a wide angle prime lens as I mostly do landscapes and nature photography and also learning more astrophotography which I hear this one is great at as well, again great video!

From what I seen dozens of "reviews" of this lens dropped yesterday and not a single one compares it with Sigma Art 20mm 1.4 or Tokina 20mm f2, not even a mention of those. Good to know there is no competition in Sony land.

I'll stick to the 24GM. Now if Sony ever releases a 16mm or 14mm f/1.8, then I'd be enticed.

I love the idea of this lens, but I do a lot of focus stacking in my landscape photography. I've read that the focus breathing is so pronounced that focus stacking will not be possible. Did you look at focus breathing at all?

There's a massive drop in image quality in the slow motion shots compared to those in normal speed. Bet slow motion was recorded in HD, right? Sony really needs to finally introduce 4K at 60 FPS in the alpha series, we waiting for it too. Nice review though, greetings.
