Ok, now I’m thinking I break rocks with the prospector then have a buddy scoop up the good fragments with a c2 Hercules. Then I can extract by the refinery a c2 full of rocks😂

So many questions. If you break it up more, do you think the smaller pieces will stay? If so, I'd be curious to see what happens when you get in atmosphere and whether you can dump them out and have them fall to the surface.

Thats minning on a whole new level just scooping up an asteroid to take it home.

I have a feeling that the engine is set to cull asteroids if you're inside the ship AND have no view to the outside. I believe this is why In this case, once the hangar doors were closed, the asteroid disappeared.

Maybe you can try this. Use a Hercules, scoop up some NPC from the hangar, then go and scoop in an asteroid?

Plot Twist: The cargo grid now has a Large SCU box full of Hanadanite.... Honestly, I was expecting the 890 Jump to explode when the rock fragmented.
