When I was at Uni in Reading they served double pints. Problem was they used plastic 2 pint glasses, so the weight of tbe beer made them collapse. You had to neck the first pint to stop it falling apart. What a shame ;)

Guinness will actually hold up in that. But I worked with a guy, about 6' 4" and 18 stone, who would show off by ordering himself 4 pint pitchers of lager to drink on a night out. And drink straight out the pitcher like a pint glass. By the time he was halfway down it looked like dishwater 🤢 silly bastard
