Why is the Twin Paradox a paradox?

Since all motion is relative, a ship moving away from the Earth at half the speed of light is the same thing as the Earth moving away from the ship at half the speed of light. This means that theoretically any relativistic effects that would happen to the ship from the Earth's perspective should also happen to the Earth from the ship's perspective.

The reason the Twin on the ship is the one that ages less is because the ship must "catch up" to the Earth. Because of this, the ship always experiences more time dilation, no matter whether you consider the Earth or the ship to be moving initially.
