Metal purists aside. This is what happens when electronic/metal infusion are done well. Takes Metal to a whole nother level. Add her voice and it turns to near perfection. Spirtbox is RIGHT where they need to be.

Every time I listen to this song, I feel different about it. We first wrote it before the pandemic, before the band started gaining success. When I recorded it in February 2021, I had a lot more to say about how weird the world is. It feels like I’m just watching this stuff happen to me like a viewer—rather than it actually happening to me—because I’m just sitting in my house watching all of these people online starting to know who the band is. It’s a bizarre feeling, and you worry about messing it up.

Qutie honestly, they're up there with Deftones, Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Korn, Incubus for leading and breaking out with a unique sound. Musically, arrangement, balance.. it's not often you get guitars, bass, drums and a vocalist that can all add something unique and big to the music. It's been almost 20 years since an entire album has captivated me and took me to a different place. I think the last one was Make Yourself by incubus. I didnt know if I was too old to experience it again. I hope they can fit a small UK tour in soon before the inevitable if/when they explode. I wanna experience these songs in a smaller venue.
